Security and privacy
Evidence is only useful if it is handled properly.
We are asking two people to record inside their own homes and workplaces. That comes with obligations, and we have designed for them from the start.
Private by default
Recordings are never public. Files sit in private storage and are reached only through short lived signed links, for people who are allowed to see them.
Only what is needed
We do not collect precise location. Scan and upload records keep a hashed reference rather than a raw IP address.
Deleted on a schedule
Evidence has a retention date you can see from the day it is created. Nothing in an active dispute is ever silently deleted.

Questions worth asking.
Does a recording prove what happened?
No, and we will not tell you otherwise. A recording is evidence to be reviewed. ParcelProof makes that evidence easy to collect, keep together and present. Whether a claim succeeds is decided by the marketplace, the payment provider, an insurer or the law, not by us.
What is the Confidence Score?
It measures how complete an evidence record is: whether both recordings exist, whether the tag matches the Evidence ID, whether tracking is attached, and so on. A score of 100% means the record is highly complete. It is not a finding that nothing went wrong.
Does the buyer need an app?
No. They scan the tag, a web page opens, and they can start recording within a few seconds. No download and no account.
What if the buyer does not record anything?
Your packing evidence still stands on its own, and the vault records that no opening evidence was submitted. A missing buyer recording is not treated as proof of anything, and it does not automatically deny anyone a refund.
Will the tag print on my label printer?
Yes. Tags are pure black and white with no colour dependency, designed for thermal, Zebra, Dymo, laser and inkjet printers, in sticker, 4x4, 4x6 and A4 sheet sizes.
How long is evidence kept?
Thirty days after a shipment completes on the default policy, and longer on higher plans. You can see the deletion date on every shipment. Evidence attached to an open dispute is placed on hold and is not deleted while that dispute is live.
