About
Who is behind ParcelProof
ParcelProof is run by Mason Hughes and operated by Hearth Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales on 20 July 2026, number 17349265. The registered office is 20 Turner Road, Dartford, DA2 8BA, United Kingdom.
Why it exists
A seller can prove a parcel was posted and a courier can prove it was delivered. Neither answers the question that actually costs money, which is what was inside it when it was sealed. That gap is where “it arrived empty” lives, and it is the one claim a seller normally has no way to answer.
ParcelProof records the packing against a printed tag, seals the recording to an Evidence ID, and fixes its fingerprint and the time it arrived. The recipient can record the opening from the same tag without an account or an app.
What this does not claim
Tampering is not prevented, it is made obvious. Anyone can edit a video file. What they cannot do is make the edited file match the fingerprint that was recorded when the evidence was submitted, and the history of a shipment can only be added to, never rewritten.
ParcelProof also decides nothing. It does not determine liability, it does not approve or refuse a refund, and it makes no finding about who is telling the truth. Those outcomes are decided by the seller, the buyer, the marketplace, the payment provider or applicable consumer law. What it produces is a record, and a record is only worth having if it is honest about its own limits.
The guides
The guides are written to be useful whether or not you ever pay us. Courier and marketplace claim processes change, so each one carries the date it was last checked. If you find something out of date, say so and it will be corrected.
